Waste-to-Fertilizer

FEECO has provided numerous systems and equipment to convert waste products to a marketable, granular fertilizer. If you have a dust, liquid, or filter cake that consists of fertilizer chemicals, we can provide the proper testing, and/or tolling to help you define a custom system for your application.

One common application is ammonium sulfate which is generated in nickel refineries, flue gas desulphurization in coal fired power plants, and caprolactam production used to make nylon. In some cases we use the compaction method to create the granular fertilizer and in other cases we use pelletizing disc or rotary drum technology.
