No matter what it is, where it is, or where it has to go, FEECO can MOVE IT! FEECO International's name is known world wide in the design and manufacture of belt conveyor systems. For over 55 years we have supplied systems to a wide variety of industries such as:
And many, many more. If you can think of a product, we've probably built a conveyor system to move it.
FEECO's expertise in providing a wide range of optional equipment to complement its line of conveying systems means a total turnkey system can be designed to handle your material. Belt trippers, weighing units, delumpers, reclaiming equipment, loading shelters and load out systems for trucks, rail cars, and barges are all available for your application.
Besides bidding to your conveyor specifications, you may also wish to have FEECO furnish an alternate bid based on FEECO standard industrial conveyors. Devoted exclusively to providing you a "personalized" service, FEECO offers you the option of manufacturing to FEECO standards. Our standards are intended to be in accordance with your plans and at the same time offer you a faster delivery time at a potentially reduced cost. When requesting conveyor system quotes from FEECO, you should always ask for an alternate quote using FEECO standards.
While we have developed standard design features as described above, FEECO is considered by our customers as a Custom Designed Supplier. The capabilities and quality of our design group is exceptional. We are extremely flexible in terms of modifying our standards to allow us to meet just about any type of customer specification. Along with the superior design group, we have our own manufacturing facility on site with very talented fabricators. The proximity of the shop to the engineering group provides for high quality finished product as well as maintaining scheduled delivery times.
Belt conveyors are conveyors that use a belt to transport materials through the belt conveying system. Belt conveyors are the most commonly used bulk handling conveyors in history due to their reliability, versatility, and range of capacities. Belt conveyors are common in moving light to medium material loads. The belt is an elastic band wrapped around the conveyor pulley that transmits the motion necessary for the movement of materials between two points. Belt conveyors offer increased efficiency in assembling, shipping and receiving operations. Power belt conveyors can also accommodate a wide range of items, from bulky items to furniture, small engines, and packaged goods. Belt conveyors are also ideal in situations where interruption in work flow is required or where conveyed items must be taken from the line at specific points.
Belt conveyors are available in a range of belt sizes and belt speeds to fulfill many applications. Belt speed is the measurement indicating the amount of conveyor belt movement in a specified period of time. Belt conveyors can be sized to accommodate light, medium, or heavy loads, and are also available in portable models.
A common form of material handling equipment, belt conveyor systems move materials from one location to another. Belt conveyor systems allow quick and efficient transportation for a wide variety of materials, which makes them very popular in the material handling and packaging industries. Conveyor belts are used in a wide variety of material transport applications such as manufacturing, food processing, and heavy industry. Materials from fine powders to large, lumpy stones can be handled on a belt conveyor. Belt construction and materials are often application-specific. Belt materials and configurations vary for specific uses such as: roofing shingle conveying, quarry gravel transport, and a very wide variety of others.
